New Jersey Was Ranked One Of The Top States In America For 2024
Everyone has a little bit of state pride, don't they?
You'd like to think that the place you call home is one of the best places in the country to live!
For example, I have a few buddies that live in the Baltimore area and you'd swear Baltimore was the only city that existed when you hear them talk.
They take a lot of pride in the area they call home.
But we all know that living in Jersey is better, don't we?
And now we have proof.

New Jersey Was Ranked One Of The Best Overall States In The Country
Each year, US News releases its rankings for all 50 states in America, and this year Jersey didn't do half bad.
Out of all 50 states, New Jersey ranked number 14.
We had strong numbers for healthcare and education, we also ranked as high as we did because of Jersey's crime rate being on the low side when compared to other states.
What I thought was kind of funny was that New Jersey had a good score for infrastructure.
Really? You can't drive more than a half block in some areas without careening into a pothole!
What State Ranked As The Best Overall State In The Country?
US News ranked Utah as the best overall state for 2024 in America.
It has a good education system, strong local economies, great infrastructure, and lots of opportunities for people looking to move there.
What State Ranked As The Worst Overall State In The Country?
Sorry Louisiana, but US News ranked you at the bottom of the list for overall state rankings.
Louisiana didn't do well with education, healthcare, infrastructure, opportunity, or economy.
That being said, there's no place like New Orleans, it's one of my favorite cities in the country.
By the way, just because Jersey wasn't ranked the number 1 state in the country doesn't mean it's not a great place to live and work!
