29 Acoustic Acts and Duos That New Jersey Locals Say You Need to See Live
There's nothing I enjoy more during the summer, or actually any season, at the Jersey Shore than hitting a happy hour that features someone playing songs on an acoustic guitar.
There's just something about enjoying an ice-cold Kane Head High on tap while you hear someone strumming along to Red Red Wine by UB40 that makes you feel as though all is right in the world.

New Jersey Is Home To Incredible Acoustic Acts
And I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty biased towards a few acoustic acts and duos that my wife Rachel and I have become huge fans of over the past few years. Tom Vincent is one of those acts that we'll actually drive upwards of 30 to 40 minutes to go see him perform. He does a version of Frank Sinatra's My Way that'll blow your socks off.
A few weeks ago, I saw an acoustic act named Blake Breaux. He's originally from New Orleans, but has been a Jersey Guy for the better part of a decade now, and he is incredibly talented.
And of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the Collectiv3, which combines a few players from a couple of different Jersey Shore cover bands and creates a fun, unique acoustic sound. My wife and I saw them during a happy hour at Bum Rodgers a few weeks ago, and they were fantastic.
