Three days after two dogs violently attacked another dog that later died outside a mobile home on Redwood Drive in Barnegat, police have found the two dogs plus the woman who owns them.

On Tuesday, while police were investigating the incident, the owner of the dogs, Angela Greco allegedly provided false information to the responding officer when confronted about the dogs.

Greco, 60, of Barnegat has been arrested and charged with 2c:29-1a Obstructing the Administration of Law, 2c:28-6 Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, and 2 Township Ordinances for T.O.44-22 Leash Requirements.

There are additional charges are pending investigation by the Barnegat Township Humane Law Enforcement Officer.

Greco surrendered the dogs to the Popcorn Park Zoo for quarantine.

Animal Control Officers from the Popcorn Park Zoo took custody of the two dogs which will be quarantined for 10 days as required by the Ocean County Health Department.
