Barnegat Township Police are asking for your help and assistance in trying to find a missing person.
It's been reported by Barnegat Police that 82-year-old Leslie Shaffer was last seen on Tuesday afternoon around 4:15 pm and could be in the Cloverdale Park or Nautilus Drive area of the township.
This is the time as well where Barnegat Township Police issued a nixle alert about police activity in the area as the search and investigation began there.
Shaffer is 6'1, 162 lbs and may be wearing a gray sweatshirt and walking on foot.
Police said Shaffer suffers from a cognitive impairment.
