We continue to see a ton of change around Ocean and Monmouth County, as businesses close and new ones come in.

The growth trend seems to be focused on restaurants, grocery stores, and 'experiences', while traditional retail stores are suffering through the rise of online-shopping.

The latest big chain to announce a closure is Dressbarn, who said they will be closing all 650 locations, including Toms River, Howell, and the Jackson Premium Outlets. At the moment, all stores are still open for business as usual, as well as their website; Dressbarn credit cards and gift cards are still valid. No timetable has been announced for the closures, but we'll let you know when we find out.
