My mother-in-law is coming to visit for a while this month to enjoy the Jersey Shore during local summer, and we're excited to have her up!

In preparation for her coming up, I figured it would be nice to go ahead and pick up some of her favorite beer to drink while she's at the shore.

It's actually a pretty common brew, but she'll only drink it if it's in a particular bottle.

Usually, it's an easy request, I just go to the liquor store or beer distributor and ask them to grab me a case and that's that.

Now though, I've been met time and time again with we don't have it in stock, I don't know when we'll get it back.

I've nearly lost my mind trying to find this beer.

What Beer Can You No Longer Get In New Jersey?

To clarify, you can still get Rolling Rock pretty much anywhere, but my mother-in-law specifically drinks it out of the little seven-ounce bottles and nothing else.

I used to get it at Lavallette Liquors, and could also get it at Spirits Unlimited in Seaside Heights.

The other day I was determined to call every distributor in and around Ocean County until I could figure out where all the pony bottles went, and finally I got an answer.

Can You Get Rolling Rock Seven Ounce Bottles Still?

After calling a bunch of places, I spoke with Tom at Spirits Unlimited in Toms River.

On the phone he said they didn't have the seven-ounce bottles, apparently, the green glass Rolling Rock used to bottle their beer was in short supply.

He did say, however, that he'd reach out to his distributor and see when they'd be getting the pony bottles back.

After waiting and pacing, he shot me a text with my answer;

Rolling Rock seven-ounce pony bottles have been discontinued, and are not available anymore.

Well, that sucks.

Here's my last-ditch effort though, if you happen to know if there are any leftover pony bottles, I'd love to know!
