What would you say if Jersey became home to another professional sports team?

It would be pretty cool, right?

Now, what if I told you that a Philadelphia team was thinking about moving to the Garden State?

NJ Is Trying To Convince The 76ers To Build A Stadium In New Jersey

Over the past few years Philadelphia's basketball team, the 76ers, has been looking into building a new stadium in Center City.

As a former Philadelphian, this doesn't make sense; Center City is massively crowded and nowhere near the rest of the sports arenas in Philly.

The Sixers have also run into roadblock after roadblock trying to build a new stadium in Center City, and that's where Jersey decided to throw its hat in the ring.

According to the Sports Business Journal, New Jersey has plenty of open land for a new stadium to be built in Camden and could offer waterfront views and views of the Philadelphia skyline.

The Sixers' offices as well as their practice stadium are already in Camden, so again it does kind of make sense just to throw the entire team into one area.

It'd be like the New York Jets or the Giants having their stadium at Metlife.

Not to mention the Sixers' would be eligible for a massive tax break somewhere in the area of 400 Million dollars if they moved their stadium to the Garden State.

Personally, I'd love for the Sixers to come to Camden. Going to a basketball game is a ton of fun but trying to find parking and get through Philadelphia can be a pain, so having it conveniently located in Camden would be awesome, plus no more bridge tolls!
