A Toms River 6-year old girl is being treated for undisclosed injuries after an accidental fall from the second-story window of her home on Hazelwood Road Monday afternoon.

Toms River Police responded to the home around 4:15 pm and where they said the girl was alert and conscious after the fall.

She was able to get up on her own with enough strength to get to the front door and tell her mom what happened.

As a precaution, and due to the nature of the incident, Toms River Police said the girl was then brought via ambulance to Jersey Shore Medical Center by hospital paramedics and EMS.

There is no update on her condition as of early Tuesday morning.
