If New Jersey Wants to Get Beach Body Ready, Drop That Weight Gaining Lip Balm
Are lip balm, lotion, face wash, and body lotions making us fat?
I just got some knowledge dropped on me and it's a game-changer. I'm on a journey to lose the COVID weight that I put on over the last two years. I started working with a medical professional to do this the right way, the healthy way, and what I learned about the products we use will blow your mind.
Our skin is the largest organ on our bodies and it absorbs whatever we put on it. Let's take a minute to realize what we slather all over ourselves and I promise you'll soon have a lightbulb go off as I did. Will oil-based products make you fat? No. Can you still lose weight while using them? Yes, but my coach made a great point, why make losing weight harder? If there are products that you can change up to help the cause why not make the switch?

I just learned that if you are using products that have oils in them, your body is actually taking them in as fat to burn. Apparently, your body doesn't know the difference between eating fats and oils and just having them rubbed into your skin or scalp.
I have switched to oil-free products because our bodies will always burn what you put into our system before it burns your reserve fat. If you can make that small change, your body will jump right to burning your reserves.
I switched out all my products, here is what oil-free stuff I started using:
