Wawa customer fights himself and then exposes himself to customers
Police in Little Egg Harbor have arrested a man witnesses say was standing in front of the Mystic Island Wawa "fighting himself" before he allegedly pulled his pants down and flashed customers Tuesday night around 9:00 pm.
Witnesses first told police they believed that the male was under the influence of something.
When officers arrived they met 37-year old Jason Cramer of New Gretna.
After officers spoke with Cramer he was sent on his way and supposed to make arrangements for transportation home.
Instead, about 15 minutes later officers were dispatched back to the Mystic Islands Wawa for Cramer again reportedly acting in a suspicious manner.
When officers arrived on scene this time they were flagged down by witnesses who stated that Cramer had been standing in front of the store, “fighting with himself,” punching his face and scratching at his eyes.
Several witnesses also reported that Cramer had pulled his pants down exposing his genitals, grabbed himself and began yelling obscenities at patrons.
This time Cramer was arrested and charged with Lewdness.
After being served with a summons Cramer was released pending a future court date and transported home.
Ptl. Brian Smith was the arresting officer, assisted by Ptl. Hoolahan.
