We love our fur babies at the Jersey Shore that's for sure!  What better way to soak in the fun and sun than to bring our little buddies along for the ride?  A new national list came out with the most pet-friendly restaurants in America and two of our local favorites made the list!

Love Food.com did a deep dive to find out where our pooches are most welcomed in the U.S.A. and out of their list of 30 top restaurants the pamper your pooch, we took up two spots! There are quite a few places at the Jersey Shore that are dog friendly, but the first NJ place highlighted on the list was none other than Wonderbar in Asbury Park!

You’ve got to hand it to a restaurant that hosts regular  “Yappy Hours”. You can enjoy your drinks while the fenced-in area lets your pooch run around off-leash.

If you are single there really is no better way to break the ice with someone than to ask about all about their pup!  Wonderbar serves up hot dogs, grilled cheese, and cheeseburgers to enjoy while your pet plays with other dogs and makes new friends.

The second New Jersey spot highlighted was The Rusty Nail in Cape May Beach. They are totally dog-friendly from November all the way until March.  While us pet-parents enjoy live music and freshly caught oysters, you can cozy up to fire pits, and play some games like shuffleboard and cornhole all while your dogs order from their own doggie menu and play!  Dogs get their choice of burgers without the bun, hot dogs (because why not), or chicken with a side of steamed veggies.  I’ll have what Fido is having!

Way to go Jersey for sticking up for man's (and woman's) best friend!
