Sadly, though, all good things must come to an end, and for one beloved pizzeria in Hoboken, their days are sadly limited as they announced they'd be closing mid-summer this year.

Torna's Pizzeria Is Closing In Hoboken, NJ

Serving up arguably the best Sicilian slice in Jersey, Torna's has announced that after 64 years in business, the pizza ovens would be turned off, and they'd be closing their doors for good.

According to a sign on the door of the soon-to-be-closed pizzeria, there's no exact reason.

The sign says "it's with a heavy heart we announce that Torna's Pizza will be closing. Since 1960, we've had the honor of serving you our family's homemade pizza, made with love and tradition. Your laughter, loyalty, and stories have filled our space with warmth beyond words. This is not just a goodbye to a business - it's a celebration of the community we built together."

It appears as though July 24th, 2025, will be the last day you can grab a slice from this local pizzeria.

64 years is an impressive run, but sadly, closures like this are starting to become the norm with more and more mom-and-pop businesses and restaurants having to call it quits.
