South Toms River Police Department’s K9 Loki will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.

K9 Loki joined the department in April of this year and with his handler, Patrolman William Kosh Jr., completed patrol / narcotics training in August.

The donation to provide one protective vest for a law enforcement K9 is $950. If you'd like to make a donation to help give a vest to one of the estimated 30,000 law enforcment K9s in the US, get all the information at VIK9s.org.
