5 Ridiculous Things that Are Currently Cheaper than a Gallon of Gas in New Jersey

Sometimes, laughing is the best coping mechanism.

We're all over the fact that the current gas prices are sky-high across the country.  Especially, here in New Jersey, where we're used to enjoying relatively low gas prices; but this year, we're feeling the pain in our wallets.

And of course, the gas price increase comes at the worst possible time: when we're finally having the most normal summer we've had in 3 years.  People are itching to get out of their homes and feed the travel bug, but for some, it's simply too expensive.

According to NJ.com, the average price of a gallon of gas in NJ is $4.761!

I've seen so many complaints on Facebook about how it's costing people double and almost triple to fill up their tanks; it's just not fair!  As an SUV driver, I can relate.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, unfortunately, it doesn't look like an end to this gas hike is in sight anytime soon.  Say it ain't so.

Memorial Day Weekend is just a couple of days away from today, May 26th, and chances are, you're hitting the road, and with that, the gas station.

So to make the best of a terrible situation, I thought it would be funny to look at 5 ridiculous items that are currently cheaper than a gallon of gas in New Jersey.  It's kind of funny and sad at the same time.  But, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right?
