As Ocean County dug out from two feet of snow in some areas, the HawkCam was on the case, surveying the scene from above one Ocean County community. Check the scene out for yourself:

As the whole Northeast is dealing with a blanket of snow, we've seen plenty of maps and graphics, but nothing compares to this absolutely stunning photo of the storm over the East Coast that was taken by NASA astronaut (and New Jersey native) Scott Kelly from the International Space Station. Parts of central, southern and coastal New Jersey could see some minor snow accumulations this afternoon and evening, according to a winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service Sunday.

With the approaching blizzard, many people no doubt are poised to fire up their generators, but there are, of course, dangers with their use.

A powerful coastal storm, also known as a nor'easter, is taking shape along the Atlantic coast. This storm will have prolonged impacts on New Jersey, beginning Monday evening and lasting through Wednesday.

Spring has arrived, but you may not want to get out your flip-flops just yet. Over the next couple of weeks, New Jersey is expected to see below average temperatures, which means we cannot rule out spring snowfall.

With New Jersey already on the receiving end of two snowstorms in one week, and the possibility of another on the way, many residents are saying "enough is enough" when it comes to the white stuff.

It looks like snow and sleet are headed our way on Sunday, and that gets many people thinking about getting out on the slopes again, and some of them - clearly lacking a particular survival gene - love to find the most dangerous places to show off.
