Toms River Little League

Once again the kids from Toms River East are thrilling their fans and family as they continue another successful Little League season.

Todd Frazier, Third Baseman for the Cincinnati Reds and Toms River resident has spent this off-season helping out in the relief effort to help out people who have lost so much from Superstorm Sandy.

We posted a story at the beginning of the 2012 Major League Baseball season about Todd Frazier, a Toms River native and 1998 Little League World Series star, who made the starting roster on the Cincinnati Reds. To read that story, click here. Well now his story keeps on getting better.

You might remember the name Todd Frazier from the 1998 World Champion Toms River East Little League team. In the final game of the tournament, he was the winning pitcher in the Box score and went 4-4 with a home run. Well 14 years later, Todd is a major league baseball player. Frazier has earned a spot on the 40 man roster for the start of the 2012 baseball season. He  is hitting .302 this spring
