An incident on the night of the 4th of July in Toms River that involved a fight and an unconscious man who was found in the middle of a road has landed a Scotch Plains man in jail.

The deadline for the population count has moved frequently but is finally set: 6 a.m. Friday on the East Coast.

The online petition calls the Wayne Valley use of the old mascot an "abysmal misrepresentation of Native Americans."
