Toms River officials are asking residents who had a freshly cut Christmas Tree (NOT fake ones) this year for the holidays to not throw it out with the trash, but to please donate it to Ortley Beach to help rebuild the dunes along the beach

The miniature golf course that became yet another victim of Sandy, with poor old Bill getting knocked down and laid out, is being revived in Ortley Beach just in time for the holiday weekend!

Earlier this week a bipartisan group of state senators and local public officials took a sad tour of areas of Toms River, Seaside Heights and Ortley Beach.
