Keyboardist "cut the ice" in the studio, allowing the group to ditch the drama and focus on music.

Drummer Bruce Rowland, whose prolific career included session work for a long list of artists as well as stints with Fairport Convention and the Grease Band, has died at the age of 74.

The legend died in his Colorado home after a long battle with lung cancer.

Happy birthday to Joe Cocker, who turns 70 today.

Happy belated birthday to Joe Cocker, who turned 68 on Sunday. He was born on May 20, 1944, in West Riding of Yorkshire, England (yes, it's really called that. It's a subdivision of Yorkshire.  I didn't think anything could sound more English than "Yorkshire", but there you are).
