There's not a lot of optimism that JCP&L will meet its goal of restoring all customers who have been without power for over a week in a hard hit Hunterdon County town.
Hundreds of thousands of people were without power Wednesday evening after a nor'easter snowfall that brought dangerous lightning, fallen trees and countless traffic accidents.
And depending where you live in Toms River, your power can be out from anywhere between two and seven hours.
Officials from the Office of Emergency Management say JCP&L is working to perform "reliability improvements". Residents will experience power interruptions between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
