Officials said more than 100 animals were discovered in a horrific hoarding case in Edison when police responded to a medical call at a home on Sunday.
Linden Police Department Spokesman Capt. Christopher Guenther said one man was found lying on the ground in the parking lot of the eatery on Route 1 at Park Avenue late Sunday night.
A 22-year-old man walked into the 7-Eleven/Valero on Route 130 north at Farnsworth Road around 11:30 p.m. seeking help after being shot in the back. He then walked back outside, collapsed and died in the parking lot.
