It wasn't just my boss who was off today, all of my co-workers from the other radio stations who also work on the 4th floor took the day off too. The hallways were empty. Now...it's pretty well known that when I'm left to my own devices,  things happen! Plus add the fact that it's Friday, and it's a beautiful day outside, We needed to let loose a bit.

Hard to believe that "First Call Friday" is coming to an end! This summer, we took over Water's Edge in Bayville. Latitudes in Forked River, and Bum Rogers in Seaside Park. Big thanks to the staff and management at all three places that have been nothing but awesome to us and the Hawk listeners.

I was broadcasting live from Water's Edge on Friday, and the barback Kyle yelled to me that he wanted to do the weather so I said O.K. He was quite surprised that I said yes. Why not right??? He did a great job. I brought the selfie stick also...

For months now I have been saying that I wish it was summertime. That I wish we were hanging on the boardwalk, at the beach etc!!! Well it's not quite summer yet, BUT it is Memorial Day Weekend in just a few days. There is a lot going on at the Hawk this weekend, and I am here to tell you all about it

Ya know......At first I thought some drunk people just randomly came up with this day just like there is a "National Hamburger Day", "National Donut Day", etc But today, April 7th, is a HUGE deal in the world of beer and alcohol. "National Beer Day" celebrates the ending of prohibition when people could buy, sell and drink beer for the first time in 12 years.

The 31st Annual Seaside Heights St. Patrick's Day Parade is kicking off Saturday March 7th at noon and we want to see you there! This Saturday March 7th, 2015 is the 31th Annual Seaside Heights St. Patrick's Day Parade on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights kicking off at noon! So far the weather is supposed to be good! Sunshine and 40 degrees.... We'll take it!!!! Congratulations to Jess Jones of the Headliner in Neptune!!! She is the winner of the  2014 Bud Light Hottest Bartender Competition on the Jersey Shore. The voting was close!!! Just 10 votes separated her and 2nd place winner Briana of Hemingways in Seaside Heights...
