Steve Winwood at 66: On Tour in the U.S. in June

More on the tour, but first, happy birthday to Steve Winwood, who was born on May 12, 1948 in Birmingham, England.

Steve will hit the road next month for a brief tour out west.

If you happen to catch a show and meet him backstage, be advised: don't ask for an autograph.

According to his official website:

Steve is no longer able to accommodate autograph requests, as a large majority of these have (sadly) ended up on eBay.

Does he still have the chops these days?

According to a concert review from last fall, most definitely.
