Sorry to Disappoint. This New Jersey Celebrity Won’t Be a Real Housewife
The news comes from Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen.
Love it or hate it, there's no denying that The Garden State makes for some good Reality TV.
We're a different breed in New Jersey. We're passionate, strong, family-oriented, and the life of the party. It's clear that the stars of these shows like Jersey Shore, Jerseylicious, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey are why they've been so successful over the years.
Hardcore Jersey Reality TV fans have been hoping for a cast crossover on some of these shows. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this won't be happening.
For years, there have been rumors about Snooki from Jersey Shore joining the casts of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. An article from NJ.com is finally putting a stop to that.
Will Snooki be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of NJ?
Per NJ.com, Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen said on Watch What Happens Live, that he's not behind the idea of making Snooki a Real Housewife. He believes it'd be like mixing two different worlds. Cohen also insisted he doesn't have any bad feelings towards Snooki.
I have to agree with Andy Cohen on this one.
There's a saying that goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." And I think it applies in this situation. Sure, it's fun to imagine Teresa Giudice and Snooki causing chaos in a New Jersey Restaurant. But if that were a reality (no pun intended), I think it would get old quickly, and cheapen both brands.
Are you disappointed with the news that Snooki won't be a Real Housewife of New Jersey?
