Someone Stole $1,000 Worth Of Peaches From A NJ Farm
Holtzhauser Farms in Gloucester County has been around since 1897; current owner Tom Holtzhauser said he's been robbed before, but never like this.
It's one thing (though still a crime) to have someone pull their car up along the farm, hop out, grab a few peaches and drive away, but this is way bigger.
Holtzhauser says thieves made off with nearly 800 pounds of peaches, about $1,000 worth. It's the type of job it would have taken four of his workers ninety minutes to do.
If you saw anything suspicious, like someone walking around with 800 pounds of peaches, contact the farm through Facebook or the Harrison Township Police Department.
