This is the kind of stuff that I love to see happening around Ocean County, and the fact that the food is delicious is just icing on the cake.
More and more often we hear of small mom-and-pop businesses having to shut down during tough economic times.

Even bigger chains like Denny's announced that they're looking into closing nearly 150 stores across the country by the end of next year!
So when a local food truck branches out to open up its first brick-and-mortar location, it's cause for a little bit of celebration here.

You've got empanadas, salchipapa, and pan con chicharron just to name a few mouth-watering options.
And this food truck and soon-to-be restaurant is the real deal, one of its owners hails from Peru and knows a thing or two about making real Peruvian grub.
According to Patch, Snowchi will be opening its very first physical location within the next couple of weeks.
Snowchi has been seen all over Ocean County at various fairs and food fests.
At one point they even stopped by the 105.7 The Hawk studio with a whole smorgasbord of food for the staff.
It was my first experience with Peruvian food and I was absolutely hooked, it was so good and the fact that it was all made fresh that day just blew me away.
Snowchi plans on opening the doors of its first physical location by November 6th, according to Patch, and will be located at 1990 NJ-88 in Brick!
