A Day Of Fun; Santa Con Returns To Seaside Heights New Jersey This Year

Santa Con is returning to Seaside Heights for 2024, and if you've never been you are in for a day of some serious yuletide fun!

I went last year with my wife and our friends, and it's a ton of fun getting dressed up in your festive best and bar-hopping around the shore for a good cause.

Santa Con is ramping up this year to be bigger and better than ever as Hooks Bar And Grill has teamed up with Chive Charities, an organization that supports veterans, military personnel, and their families.

So it's a fun day, all for a good cause.

The recommended donation to participate in the Santa Con bar crawl this year is $25, and again that goes to benefit Chive Charities and will also get you a Santa Con beer mug that gets you specials on Miller Lite during the event.

Santa Con officially kicks off at 11 AM on December 14th this year, and you have to start the day at Hooks Bar and Grill in Seaside, that's where you'll sign up, grab your first brew, and kick off your day.

Now, I'm calling this a bar crawl, but according to the Santa Con website, if you call it a bar crawl, a sugar plum fairy dies, so from here on out, we're just calling it Santa Con.

And there are some rules you'll have to follow if you participate in Santa Con.

For example, you have to wear some sort of costume, just a Santa hat won't cut it so start getting creative now.

You're also urged to bring a donation of 2 non-perishable food items to donate at the start of Santa Con, which once again goes to support local food banks.

The most important rule is that you're representing the big man himself, Santa, so if you see kids around Seaside Heights during Santa Con don't do anything Santa wouldn't do.

According to Exit 82, if you plan on coming to Santa Con, the Hershey Hotel has a deal on rooms where you can crash there for 70 bucks a night, which isn't a bad deal at all!

It's supposed to be a day of fun and merriment, and you'll be stopping at some of the most popular bars in Seaside Heights.
