Ahhhhhhh.....Atlantic City.

The place where gambling at 7:00 AM with a mimosa is acceptable and eating dinner is a five-star affair.

So whenever one of the major Atlantic City casinos announces a new restaurant, it is news that travels fast.

You remember the major casinos to keep in mind, right?

If not, I am shocked and appalled.

It is the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City that just announced a new restaurant.

It is going to be called Sandpiper Coastal Bar & Grill and it will be a restaurant focused on tapas that the entire table can share.

I personally love this type of dining style because you get to order a bunch of different dishes and then get to try a little bit of each one.

Here is how the restaurant is being described on their website:

"Revel in the cool, relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy an eclectic seasonal menu designed for sharing. Enjoy modern culinary bites with expert wine pairings, fruit forward craft cocktails, and local brews."

I took a closer look at the menu and it looks like the focus is on fresh seafood...hey, I'm not complaining.

Let's see, here are a few that stand out to me: Shrimp Ceviche, Lobster Lettuce Cups, Stuffed Clams, Grilled Peruvian Beef Skewers, Lamb Ribs & Tenderloin Sliders.

Hungry yet?

And as far as cocktails, there are quite a few handcrafted that I would try.

Let's see...I'll take a Watermelon Basil Cooler, a Blueberry Mint Mojito and then I'll finish with a Safe Infused Margarita.

Oh....and the dining room is massive with a whopping 240 seats available.

Here are the restaurant's hours:

Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays - 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Saturdays & Sundays - 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
