Prepare for the Ghosts of Asbury Park at Haunted Hall

Get ready all during the month of October to encounter the ghosts of Convention Hall at 1300 Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park.

Humans have a need to be frightened because we are clearly a weird species.

And Asbury Park Convention Hall is being converted into a spine-tingling, heart attack-inducing Haunted Experience like no other in the state of New Jersey. Not that it needs much help, as you can see from this post from some of my colleagues, who went and investigated the site this weekend.

In fact, it will be so creepy that no one under 10 is allowed in.

“Haunted Hall” promises small, dark alleys that lead to a series of ten “scare rooms.” Each room takes on a different nightmare with a different theme, but the common thread throughout the hall is experiencing your worst nightmares come to life, according to Ted Maturo, live events manager for Townsquare Media, the event producers.

Haunted Hall dates and times are as follows:

Friday, Oct. 10 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 11 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 16 from 6 to 10 p.m. (College Night – $3 off with College ID)

Friday, Oct. 17 from 7 to – 11 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 18 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6 to 10 p.m. (College Night – $3 off with College ID)

Friday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 25 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 11 p.m. (College Night – $3 off with College ID)
