The Post Office Just Increased Its Service Rates; Here’s What New Jersey Needs To Know
If you had to name one of the most amazing things in the country, what would you choose?
Maybe you're thinking of one of our natural wonders like Acadia National Park, it's truly breathtaking.

Maybe your thoughts went to the beautiful Jersey Shore, there's no better place!
For me, my mind always goes to one thing and one thing only; the United States Postal Service.
Now, this may sound ridiculous at first, and I get that, I mean it's a government agency, what's so amazing about it?
Well, for 73 cents they'll take a letter from New Jersey to California, or from Texas to Alaska with no questions asked.
I dare you to ask a friend of yours to deliver a letter to Alaska for only 73 cents, they'd laugh at you!
Something to remember about the Post Office though is that their prices fluctuate, and it will now cost you more to ship packages using the USPS.
The United States Postal Service Is Increasing Their Shipping Fees
In the grand scheme of things, it's not a huge increase, but it's enough to make you mildly frustrated.

According to NJ.com, the United States Postal Service has made a 3.2% increase to the cost of Priority Mail Service, a 3.9% increase for USPS Ground Advantage and if you use Parcel Select you'll see a whopping 9.2% increase.
Keep in mind, that this increase will only apply to the cost of shipping packages with the post office, the cost of your Forever Stamps will not be increasing this year, so there's at least a little good news for you!
