Point Pleasant Police make an arrest of a Margate woman who walked into an Arnold Avenue business on Thursday December 13 and allegedly threatened the owner with a loaded handgun before robbing the place.

The 81-year old man from Point Pleasant, who runs the business, was unharmed in the robbery.

Police have charged the suspect with several offenses but their investigation didn't find an actual handgun.

Lindsey Gorman, 37, is charged with 2nd degree robbery, 3rd degree terroristic threats, 4th degree theft, disorderly person defiant trespass, disorderly person possession of a controlled dangerous substance and disorderly person possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was transported to the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

The name of the business has not been released by police.
