Reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child may only be the beginning of charges for a Point Pleasant man who allegedly crashed into a school bus while drunk on Monday.

Point Pleasant Police have also charged Eric Loveland, 58, of Old Farm Road with DWI with his 10-year old daughter in the car.

A borough officer had been working with Howell Police on a hit-and-run involving a school bus and what turned out to be Loveland's vehicle.

Loveland was charged with the aforementioned offenses by Point Pleasant Police but charges related to the crash in Howell are pending with that townships police department.

He was released from custody by borough police pending his first appearance in Superior Court, in accordance with the NJ Bail Reform Law.
