What I mean by that is that you realize that the place you call home is where other people visit for a few days, only to wish they didn't have to leave. Over the weekend, I had some friends from PA visit our home in Ocean Gate, and it was just one of those weekends that makes you realize how great living near the shore is. We spent Friday night on the Seaside Heights boardwalk, grabbing soft serve, and taking my friend's 7-year-old on rides at Casino Pier. Seeing the excitement in his eyes when he saw the rides all lit up was amazing.
