This is one of the best ideas that I have heard about in a long time!

We all have made or wanted to make an online purchase from Ebay, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace, but were hesitant to do so because you were not sure if it was safe enough to meet up with the seller not knowing if you were going to be put in harm's way.

Well......There are two places in Southern Ocean County that you can go to where the entire transaction will be captured on camera....Brilliant!!!

In Stafford Township, there are two parking spaces by the municipal building at 260 East Bay Avenue. There will be a sign that indicates you are in the proper spots by saying "Reserved Parking: Internet Commerce Safe Zone"

Stafford Police Chief Thomas Dellane says, “When people are buying or selling something on the internet, they need a safe place to do it. People are uncomfortable inviting people into their houses.”

The second location will be in the front parking lot of the police department, located at 808 West Lacey Road. It's well lit, and under surveillance cameras 24-hours a day.
