Ocean County Stores Announce Black Friday Hours

I have never, and will never, shop on Black Friday. The past few years my wife has tried convince me, but there is no way I'm camping outside a store or fighting a crowd at 6am on Friday morning, or midnight, or leaving Thanksgiving early to get a deal at 6pm on Thursday.

Even if I refuse, there are enough people who fight for discounts that stores continue to open for special Black Friday hours.

Here's a brief list of some local stores that will be open Thanksgiving/Black Friday:

Barnes & Noble: stores will open at 8am and close at 10pm

Bed Bath & Beyond: stores open at 6am on Black Friday and close regular time

Best Buy: stores open at 5pm on Thanksgiving through 1am on Black Friday. and reopen again at 8am

BJ's Wholesale Club: doors open at 7am on Black Friday

Costco: stores open on Black Friday at 9am

Dick's Sporting Goods: stores are open from 6pm on Thanksgiving Day until 2 a.m. on Friday, then will reopen at 5am on Friday

Home Depot: stores open 6am on Black Friday

HomeGoods: stores opens at 7am on Black Friday

KMart: stores open at 6am on Black Friday

Kohl's: stores open at 5pm on Thanksgiving Day
