NY Mets Pitcher Jeurys Familia Arrested For Domestic Violence

There aren't too many details as of yet, but NY Mets Closer Jeurys Familia was arrested last night for Domestic Violence in Fort Lee, New Jersey according to police.

Familia was charged with simple assault, where police state they noticed a scratch to the chest and a bruise to the right cheek of the victim.

The New York Mets are aware of the arrest, and are monitoring the situation
