I read a book a few months ago called Nuclear War: A Scenario, and that book broke down the minute by minute of what would happen if America was attacked out of the blue with a nuclear missile.

After reading that book, and living in a state of heightened panic for a few days before finally talking myself off a wall, it got me thinking; if a nuke did hit America, how would Jersey fare?

I mean, for the most part, unless you live in the absolute middle of nowhere, the odds of a nuclear attack affecting Jersey are pretty high when you consider our location to some pretty major US cities.

Mainly it's due to our key location along the East Coast.

According to MSN, our location right between New York City and Philadelphia would work against us in the case of nuclear attacks.

It's also one of the most densely populated states in the Country which would cause a lot of chaos should something happen.

What NJ Cities Would Be Attacked By Nuckes?

Cities like San Francisco, Chicago, and Houston made MSN's list of  15 US cities that would be targeted for a nuclear attack, as well as two in Jersey.

Newark and Jersey City are Jersey's most likely targets for a nuclear attack and that's mainly because of their key location to New York City.

These are the 15 cities most at risk if nuclear war were to break out.
