Twenty-six students and five teachers from Leonia High School in Bergen County were visiting Notre Dame Cathedral just moments before the iconic structure caught fire.

Superintendent Edward Bertolini the group was in Paris as part of an 11-day trip, and had spent the afternoon at the cathedral before leaving for dinner around 6:20pm.

I'm one of those rare people who has visited France, but not Paris (bragging camp is going fine, thanks). Going back had been a bucket list item of mine, and I have hopes that the cathedral can be rebuilt.
