Seafood Restaurant Joe's Crab Shack is doing away with tipping from their customers.

A few months ago, they tested a "no-tipping" policy in a dozen of their stores. Now they will be rolling it out to all of their 113 stores

Servers, hosts, bartenders are paid now higher, fixed, hourly wages," the company's CEO Raymond Blanchette reportedly said during an earnings call last week, "and it's expected to result in an improved team atmosphere, a significant reduction in turnover and greater financial security for the employees."

The plan is to make the average starting wage $14 per hour, and menu items will go up in price an average of 12 to 15 percent.
