Do You Agree That These Are New Jersey’s Favorite Christmas Choices?
The more I read national publications, the less I think they know about the Garden State, so I'm wondering if what they're saying about our favorite Christmas things is accurate. Therefore, we present New Jersey's favorite Christmas list. Let's see if you agree.
We searched every corner of the internet to find out what the rest of the nation thinks is our favorite Christmas stuff, and here is what we came up with...
New Jersey's Favorite Christmas Movie. This is actually a pretty good choice for the Garden State. Throw Joe Pesci in a movie and we love it. Make it a Christmas movie, and it's our favorite. Wide Open Country says Home Alone is our favorite holiday flick. We concur.
New Jersey's Favorite Christmas Dessert. Sit down for this one. We apparently don't like fruitcake, cheesecake, or sugar cookies enough. Nope, if you're from New Jersey, according to Travel & Leisure, you can't stop eating chocolate Santa's. I'm not loving this one. Can we at least get a Hershey Kiss in the red or green wrapper?
New Jersey's Favorite Christmas Song. This one is where I draw the line. According to Verizon, the Garden State's top Christmas song is "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. WHAT?? Repeat after me, "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Bruce Springsteen. End of conversation.
So, we realize once again that no one knows us better than, well, us. In the meantime, sit back, eat a chocolate Santa, crank up some Mariah and watch Home Alone. And Merry Christmas!
