There have already been many towns that have banned plastic shopping bags, and lately I've been to a bunch of restaurants that only give plastic straws upon request. I've even seen signs saying "it's hip to sip" to encourage people to not use disposable straws.

While there was a suggestion to put a 5-cent tax on all plastic bags, Governor Murphy is expected to veto that in favor of a total ban.

I'm down with environmental protection, keeping our beaches clean, have a small carbon footprint, etc...so none of this really bothers me. What do you think about the potential ban on all these products?
