Food Network fans tend to develop weird fixations on their favorite hosts. I definitely have ones that I love, and certain ones that I can't stand.

Two of the network's favorite cake chefs are taking eachother on in a new show, "Buddy vs Duff" that will premiere on March 10th.

Even though Buddy Valastro had to close two of his New Jersey locations, the Cake Boss got his start in Hoboken and still reps NJ in four other spots.

Duff Goldman was born in Michigan, but went to culinary school in Maryland, where he eventually set up his Charm City Cakes shop, featured on Food Network's "Ace of Cakes".

The two cake guys will battle eachother across a six-week series, with each episode featuring two rounds - a “Bake-Off” to test technical precision and a “Cake-Off” to show decorating expertise.

Like I said, watching Food Network way too much has made me love some chefs and dislike others...and to be honest, for this show, I'll need to turn my back on my New Jersey roots and cheer for Duff. Nothing against Buddy, but I'm just a big fan of Duff.
