For months now, we have been following the rules for social distancing.

Governor Murphy has mandated that any sort of group gatherings must be limited to no more than ten people. That has been the magic number for months now.

Good news though, because that number has increased!!! Starting today, OUTSIDE gatherings must be limited to no more than TWENTY-FIVE people. Inside gatherings must remain at ten people.

That is great news with it being Memorial Day Weekend. Barbecues will definitely feel more normal having friends and family around.

And with it being Memorial Day Weekend, the beaches and boardwalks are open. Unfortunately, The Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk has not reopened yet. Officials are hoping that they will reopen in early June

Of course, use your own discretion.

Just this week, Governor Murphy allowed non-essential construction to resume operations. He also has allowed car and motorcycle dealers to allow in-store sales, and dental offices are allowed to see patients once again for non-emergency procedures.

We're hoping that beauty salons, tanning salons, bars, and restaurants will be allowed to open soon
