How much would you pay for a space about 12 feet wide, 23 feet long and more than 15 feet high?

The private garage at 66 E. 11th St. costs six times more than the national-average price of a single-family home.

Buying it would be the same as paying a $115 ticket for illegal parking every day — for 24 years.

The parking spot will have its own deed and sales contract, and be charged maintenance fees, just as a condo would.

 

I understand that parking in Manhattan is pretty scarce, but really? A million dollars? This begs two questions: how much would you pay for parking, and how many other things would you rather spend one million dollars on?  Leave your comment below!
