
Monmouth County’s First Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens Today
There are 11 medical marijuana dispensaries in the state of New Jersey, but today the first dispensary in Monmouth County opened its doors
Garden State Dispensary is located in Eatontown at 59 Rt. 35 near the entrance to the old Fort Monmouth property. You must have a medical marijuana card prescribed by a doctor to purchase medical marijuana.
Garden State Dispensary is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m to 6 p.m, and you MUST make an appointment to visit the dispensary. No walk-ups will be accepted.

According to the Patch:
There is growing interest in medical marijuana: Monmouth County has 7,341 people enrolled in its medical marijuana program, the fourth largest enrollment by county in the state. Across the state, there are currently more than 86,000 patients, 3,300 caregivers and 1,200 physicians enrolled in New Jersey's medical marijuana program.
