For me, if I won the lottery, not much would change in my life.

I like my job, and my house and living in Ocean Gate so we'd probably just payoff our house, invest, and continue to live and work right here at the Jersey Shore.

Sadly though, your odds of hitting it big are slim to none, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

Jersey is somewhat of a hotbed for lottery winners.

It seems like every few weeks someone wins a life-changing amount of money from either scratch-offs, the Jersey Cash 5, or either the Mega-Millions or the Powerball.

A while back, someone in Jersey even won a huge billion-dollar jackpot, although that's still gone unclaimed.

More on that here.

Well, this week marks another week of winning in the Garden State as some anonymous Powerball player hit it big.

The massive 92 million jackpot was not won; however, according to NJ.com, only one million-dollar winning ticket was sold in the country, and it was sold right here in Jersey.

The winning numbers from Saturday's drawing were 11, 24, 50, 56, and 66 and the Powerball was 16.

The winner in Jersey matched all 5 winning numbers but missed the Powerball number which scored them a nice sum of 1 Million Dollars.

Right now the Powerball has lept up to 108 Million Dollars ahead of tonights drawing, and if you're feeling lucky the odds of you winning the Powerball are 1 in 292,201,388.

So yes, there is a chance.
