A week and a half ago, we learned that Mick Jagger and his girlfriend, ballerina Melanie Hamrick, had become the parents of a baby boy. This morning, the child’s name, which was not disclosed in the statement that accompanied his birth, has been revealed.

We’ve discovered this through another of Jagger’s children, Elizabeth Scarlett “Lizzy” Jagger, who, at 32, is three years older than the 29-year-old Hamrick. Lizzy posted a picture of the boy on Instagram and wrote, “So proud of my beautiful baby brother Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger.”

Born on Dec. 8, Deveraux Octavian Basil continues the tradition of elaborately named Jagger children, which includes Jade Sheena Jezebel, Georgia May Ayeesha, James Leroy Augustin and Gabriel Luke Beauregard. Mick’s other children are named Karis Hunt and Lucas Maurice, and he also has five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Deveraux is actually the third child born to a Rolling Stone this year. Back in May, Ron Wood and his wife, Sally, welcomed twin girls, Gracie Jane and Alice Rose, into the world. Wood, who turned 69 only a few days after their birth, has four other children. Shortly after the girls were born, Jagger was on hand. “Mick popped in on the third day," Wood said. "He couldn’t wait to see them, I put one in each arm and took a photo.”

The Rolling Stones finished out the year on a high note, with the release of Blue & Lonesome, a collection of blues covers that's earned their best reviews in decades. As for new material from them, Jagger said last month that they have "half an album" completed.
