A new restaurant on Main Street in Asbury Park is offering up "Mediterranean street fare". Influenced by Italian, French, and Lebanese cuisine, Sami Saab wants to bring a healthier take to fast food.

Saab grew up in France, but actually attended Belmar's St. Rose High School for his senior year, before attending Brookdale's Culinary Education Center in Asbury, and then the International Culinary Institute in New York.

The as-yet-unnamed restaurant will take over the space vacated by Dino's on Main Street, and Saab plans to be open by the end of June.

I love Asbury Park, there are a ton of great places to try delicious food, so to add something else that is unique (not just another pizza joint in Jersey!) I'm definitely looking forward to trying this place out.
