With temperatures likely to be in the mid-40s to low-50s, Laurita Winery has made the decision to cancel their Winterfest.

The official statement from Facebook says

Dear Friends,

As children, we were taught you can't beat Mother Nature. True then, true now.

Based on the forecast of continued warm temperatures and rain this coming week, we foresaw muddy conditions and the inability to create snow. Thus, we are forced to CANCEL our January Winterfest currently scheduled for January 21st and 22nd, and merge that into our February Winterfest to be held Saturday and Sunday, February 18th & 19th. We are hopeful that colder temperatures will allow us to make snow and offer the features that proved so popular last year.

**Anyone who has purchased tickets for January's Winterfest can either 1) apply them to our February event or, 2) request a full refund.**

We, like you, are saddened that unseasonable conditions derailed our plans for January. Here's to a frigid February! Your understanding is deeply appreciated.

PS* While the event is cancelled, we are open for wine, wood-burning fireplace, live music & good food and you are all, as always, invited to join us!

Sincerely,

Ray & Randy, Proprietors
