We have seen a lot of big changes in the retail world over the past few years.

Sadly, a lot of those changes involve closings more than anything else.

Stores that we've known and loved for years, and thought would stand the test of time are starting to close up shop as more and more people shop online for better deals and a more convenient way of shopping.

For example, it was announced that JoAnne Fabrics would be shuttering its stores in the near future, six in the Garden State. More on that here.

On top of that, Walgreens has also announced that it's going to be closing several stores across the Garden State, more on that here as well.

Now, it looks like Kohl's is getting ready to shutter stores in Jersey and could be making some big changes to its return policy as well.

Kohls Is Shuttering Stores Across The Country This Week, Including Some In NJ

Let's start with the change to Kohl's return policy, in a shocking turn of events the retail giant announced that some stores would stop accepting Amazing returns at the customer service centers.

More on that here.

It's not an official policy in Jersey just yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it starts up in the future.

Kohl's is also preparing to shutter many underperforming stores this week, and sadly one in Jersey is on the list to be shut down.

According to APP, Kohl's in East Windsor off Princeton Highstown Road will shutter its doors this Saturday.

The closures also saw a 10 percent decrease in corporate jobs and the closure of a massive e-commerce facility in California.

Growing up, Kohl's was a go-to for back-to-school shopping and Black Friday shopping, I'll add it to the list of stores we miss the most.

These are the long-gone NJ mall stores we miss the most

With so many trends of the 1990's back in style, it's a great time to look back at a strong foundation of 80's and 90's culture — New Jersey mall shopping. Some stores were a highlight, every trip.
